Our take
Which bikes and motors it targets
The title names JASION EB3, Fafrees, Mifa, VAUN and Zündapp e-bikes. The bullets add KETELES, Rebellion Bike, X-go, Ansmann and Ancheer, and list Bafang, Tongsheng, AW and Voilamart motors. The listing explains that bikes with communicating motors, such as the big branded systems, are not compatible, because those batteries talk to the motor electronically.
The listing covers several variants, from 36 V 10 Ah up to 48 V 15 Ah. The one in our guide is the 36 V 13 Ah, roughly 468 watt hours.
In the box
SZHKDC lists the battery, a base mounting plate, a charger, two keys and a motor output cable with male and female connectors. The 4-pin base is said to fit most frames, and the lock prevents the battery from being lifted off. An LED shows charge level. The charger is listed at DC 42 V for 36 V packs.
A 30 A BMS protects against overcharging, over-discharging, overcurrent and short circuits.
Size, weight and checks to make
The pack measures 360 by 90 by 90 mm and the battery weight is given as 4.3 kg. SZHKDC asks buyers to check size and appearance against the original battery and only order if they match, which is sound advice for any Hailong-style pack.
No certification marks are mentioned, and the connector type on the output cable is not named. A one-year warranty is stated.
Compared with the X-go
The X-go Hailong has the same voltage and capacity but supplies Anderson and XT60 plugs and states a 25 A BMS, which suits conversion kits. The SZHKDC is the better starting point for factory e-bikes from the named brands. For a UKCA statement, the FEIMOKY is the only option in our guide, though it runs at 48 V.
Verdict
Choose the SZHKDC if your e-bike is one of the named brands and uses a 36 V Hailong mount. Conversion kit owners will find the X-go Hailong's labelled connectors easier, and anyone with a 48 V bike who wants UKCA marking should consider the FEIMOKY HL-4813UK.
