Our take
The electrical package
nakxus fits a 250 W brushless motor and a removable 36 V 13 Ah battery, listed at 0.45 kWh. The bullets claim around 100 miles of range after a 4 to 5 hour charge, which is far beyond what a battery of this size normally delivers. Treat it as a best case and plan for much less on real roads.
The battery is said to work down to minus 30 degrees and to keep more than 80 percent of its capacity after two years.
Controls and adjustment
A colour LCD sits on the bars, and an app gives control over pedal support, distance, speed and battery charge. nakxus also says the top speed and driving mode can be changed in the settings, so make sure the assisted speed stays at the UK limit of 15.5 mph.
The handlebar and seat both adjust, which is how the maker covers riders from 1.65 to 1.95 m. The specs list a large frame and a maximum load of 150 kg.
Frame and running gear
The frame is aluminium with a rigid fork, 26 inch aluminium rims, a 7-speed rear derailleur with trigger shifter and disc brakes front and rear. The brake type is not specified. The listed weight is 30 kg, heavy for a bike without suspension.
Assembly is required. The listing describes the bike as EU compliant.
Return policy and alternatives
The seller offers 30 days and up to 50 km of riding, with free collection and a full refund if you do not like the bike, subject to condition. That lowers the risk of buying online.
The Carpat GB1 is a similar weight but brings Shimano hydraulic brakes and EN 15194 certification. The COLORWAY BK15M also weighs 30 kg but carries a larger 720 Wh battery and fat tyres.
Verdict
Choose the 26M208 if you want a simple road commuter with app control and value a long trial period. For better brakes and documented certification, the Carpat GB1 is the stronger pick, and for longer range the COLORWAY BK15M offers a much bigger battery.
